Occupational Health & Safety

Troubleshooters Available has a proactive and unwavering approach to Occupational Health & Safety.

Our contractors are well versed in Occupational Health & Safety matters. They are accredited with the Construction Induction Card (White Card) having completed the appropriate course conducted by the Master Builders Association of Victoria. In addition all new contractors are taken through an In-House Safety and Awareness Induction.

The message to LOOK THINK and BE ALERT is constantly reinforced to our contractors. Communications regarding OH&S is ongoing by way of regular SMS messages and mail outs which highlight important safety matters. Our contractors are encouraged to speak to their OH&S representative, site foreman, call the office of TSA or call on of the Site Safety auditors should they observe any practices that are non-compliant with OH&S or they feel uncomfortable or untrained about the task they are being asked to do.

In accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004 Troubleshooters Available and its clients, so far as is reasonably practicable, must provide and maintain a workplace for our contractors that is safe and without risks to health. Workplace safety requires a co-operative approach and all parties must be committed to ensuring that safety is not compromised or prioritised in any way shape or form.

In conjunction with our clients and our affiliated company, Site Safety Audits Victoria Pty Ltd (SSAV), we work together to ensure this is achieved. SSAV visit our contractors on site to ensure that they are being provided with a safe working environment, are suitably trained to undertake the tasks required of them and are utilising the relevant safety equipment.

Our Occupational Health & Safety First Aid Level 2 construction personnel are well represented on building sites. These contractors are experienced, motivated, builder friendly and they are more than willing to pick up the tools when time permits.
